A typed account (17 p.) of the experiences of Arthur Overby's parents, Andrew and Christine Overby in Wilkin County, Minnesota. Andrew Overby was born in Norway and came to Wisconsin in 1879 where he worked as a cook in lumber camps. In the mid 1880s he moved to Wilkin County, Minnesota where he began farming. The account includes a photograph of the Overby sod house.
